The Architecture of Interconnectivity

This series represents a structural shift into larger-scale constructions built from multiple independent canvases. Each work is an assembly of disparate painting events and psychological states created in isolation, later physically sewn into a single field.

The Condition of the Join

Exposed seams hold the work under permanent tension, binding together gestures that were never originally made in relation to one another. Once joined, these individual parts are reworked to keep their independence while forced to tell a communal story. They bleed into the whole, intentionally blurring their original boundaries to create a unified, interconnected entity.

In this sense, the work is a physical manifestation of the non-linear way the subconscious holds fragmented narratives together. It is an exploration of an interconnectivity that exists before the constructs of borders, gender, or belief systems: a primal state where our fractured experiences are held together by the high-tension seams of memory and identity.

Proof of Concept

These initial works, an 11-canvas joined horizontal and a 7-canvas joined vertical, serve as a physical showcase of the theory behind the series. They are the primary prototypes for a comprehensive exhibition; a structural blueprint intended to be expanded into a full body of work in collaboration with the right gallery partner.
